Trosky No-Glove Glove-Work Series (Backhands and Hops)
Bare-hand and one-handed series that isolates backhand path, hop timing, and posture without the glove so players feel proper hand action.

Coaching notes
Players work stationary and moving backhands and short hops using only the bare hand or a small training glove. Focus is on soft absorption, proper angle, and maintaining athletic posture throughout.

Refine backhand path, hop timing, and soft-hand feel before reintroducing the full glove.
Coaching cues
Soft absorption; correct backhand angle; posture stays athletic; one-handed work builds independence of the glove hand.
Common errors
Stabbing; collapsing the posture; rushing the transfer before the ball is secured.
