Players field ground balls or tosses while interacting with a Swiss ball to promote soft hands, proper body angles, and controlled movement.

Objectives

Develop soft hands, improve body control and balance while fielding, and create better glove presentation.

Coaching cues

Stay soft; work through the Swiss ball; keep posture; funnel the ball.

Common errors

Stiff hands; upright posture; stabbing at the ball.
