Northwest Area Little League was organized in 1971 and serves youth from approximately 10 municipalities in the southwest area of Luzerne County. The complex at McKendree Road in Shickshinny features newly upgraded lighting that meets Little League standards and supports a Challenger program for children with disabilities.
