Greater Pittston Area Little League is a merged organization serving communities on the east side of the Susquehanna River including Pittston, Duryea, Jenkins Township, Avoca and Dupont. It offers T-ball through juniors baseball and softball and has grown significantly, hosting large opening days with nearly 500 players. The league competes in District 31 and advances teams in sectional play.
