Overview
Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association (SCAA), founded in 1961 as Great Bridge Baseball, is one of the largest youth baseball and softball organizations in Hampton Roads. It is PONY-affiliated and operates an 18-field complex at 2849 Eason Road in Chesapeake. The volunteer non-profit serves roughly 1,100-1,600 players per season with recreational and Thunder Sunday Select programs drawn primarily from Great Bridge, Hickory, Grassfield, and nearby areas.
