Catching Made Simple drill modeled on Jose Trevino's pregame work: elbow leads, glove smacks down through the ball, and finishes at the shoulder in one continuous motion.

Objectives

Steal more high/outside strikes, eliminate stabbing, improve framing consistency.

Coaching cues

Elbow leads; one continuous smack-down; finish at shoulder; no up-then-down.

Common errors

Stabbing upward first; two-motion catch; finishing low or wide.
