Objectives

Develop soft hands, deaden the ball, improve bunt placement accuracy.

Coaching cues

Receive the ball; soft hands; angle the bat; let the ball knock the bat.

Common errors

Jabbing or pushing at the ball; hard contact; poor angle.

  2. 2. Stage 2: Bat in glove, receive with soft hands
  3. 3. Stage 3: Pure bat, same soft receive
